Fortnite Pirate Shop Token: chest locations & routes

Improve your chances of finding the Fortnite Pirate Shop Token by searching more unlooted chests per match. Choose a vertical building sweep, a six-stop shoreline loop or a buried-mound dig route below, and use the numbered route maps to keep moving without backtracking.

Your three chest search areas

Map layers: regular, buried, rare and Sprite Chests, captured Nov 3, 2026. Yellow/black numbers show grouped chest clusters that split as you zoom, not Token probability. Tap any map to enlarge it on this page.

A. Arlong Park: main building, then nearby rooms

A: Search the walled main building (1) top-down, clear adjacent buildings (2), and branch to the nearby vault only with a key.Fortnite.GG / Epic Games

Blue circles mark route order; the gold dashed arrow marks an optional key-only branch rather than a fixed floor plan.

A concentrated west-coast option if you prefer clearing one multi-story compound before rotating outward. tmnglv describes up to 17 main-building chest positions (00:35) and over 40 across the wider POI.

  1. 1 · Enter the main walled building with a weapon. Spot the red-roofed central tower inside the walled courtyard. Land on an upper roof ledge or balcony where you can secure a weapon first; if multiple players contest the roof, drop into the outer courtyard rooms instead.
  2. Work through the floors from top to bottom. Clear the upper tower rooms and work downward floor by floor so you do not climb back over looted levels. Fortune Chester’s scan (NOOB NOOB FRUIT, 01:57) highlights chests through floors and walls, while directional chest audio works without a Sprite.
  3. 2 · Sweep the adjacent perimeter buildings. Once the central compound is clear, move south and along the shoreline structures rather than re-checking empty rooms.
  4. Optional · Branch to the nearby vault only if you find a Vault Key. tmnglv’s vault detour (00:53) notes a nearby vault holding four rare chests and one supply chest. If no Vault Key drops during your building sweep, skip the locked vault and continue down the coast.
The 17-chest main-building count and 40+ POI total are creator upper estimates, not guaranteed spawns every match. A Vault Key is a random drop—treat the nearby vault as a bonus branch rather than a required stop.
Fortune Chester reveals nearby chests across floors in Arlong Park; it speeds up room checks without making individual chests luckier.NOOB NOOB FRUIT · 02:15

When a chest spawns inside a locked or enclosed portable toilet, do not smash the entire toilet structure. NOOB NOOB FRUIT recommends breaking only the upper roof layer (02:58), dropping inside the stall, and using the normal Search interaction on the chest itself.

B. Northeast coast: six stops along the shoreline

B: Follow blue stops 1 → 6 from the peninsula north of Fortune’s Fort to the offshore island and eastern desert coast.Fortnite.GG / Epic Games

A moving coastal loop for solo players or squads who want to avoid single-building drops. Start at the huts north-east of Fortune’s Fort, cross to the small offshore island, return by the whirlpool, and sweep the eastern desert peninsula.

Osky estimates 50+ possible chest positions across the full route and optional inland extensions in roughly 5–10 minutes. Because his walkthrough is recorded in a custom game where several spawns are absent, follow the six landmarks in order rather than chasing a fixed chest count. Starting-area route overview (Osky, 01:57).

1

Start at the northern coastal huts, tents and rocks

Land at the northern coastal building above Fortune’s Fort to grab a weapon, then sweep the lower shore positions, the three orange coastal huts/tents and the guaranteed Sprite Chest (Sprite Chest note (Osky, 02:47)). Check the rock and shoreline spawns before heading offshore; Osky counts roughly 10+ possible positions across this opening stretch.

Step 1: Start at the northern coastal huts, tents and rocks.Osky · 02:35
2

Cross to the small offshore island and dig buried mounds

Swim or ride over to the small sandy island at the top-right corner of the map. Circle the beach in one direction and dig up the buried treasure mounds in the sand. Osky estimates around 10–15 possible island positions, though several do not spawn in a single match.

Step 2: Cross to the small offshore island and dig buried mounds.Osky · 03:53
3

Return via the whirlpool and clear the coastal stairs

Take the whirlpool in the channel back toward the eastern bulge of the green peninsula. Search the coastal building’s stair landing and lower level (about three positions), then follow the water’s edge, roadside rocks and small wooden shelters southward onto the orange desert peninsula.

Step 3: Return via the whirlpool and clear the coastal stairs.Osky · 05:01
4

Sweep the crab-shaped desert landmark

Continue onto the upper ridge of the eastern desert peninsula to reach the crab-shaped wooden structure. Search the three ground-level positions, climb to the upper platform, and check behind the nearby boat for roughly six possible spawns around this landmark.

Step 4: Sweep the crab-shaped desert landmark.Osky · 06:28
5

Search the inner-bay boat stop and Sprite Chest

Drop south into the inner bay of the desert peninsula to reach the boat stop. Check the chest positions inside, outside and on the upper deck, plus the guaranteed Sprite Chest that spawns inside the boat structure. Treat this as a loot stop before the launch pad rather than driving the boat north.

Step 5: Search the inner-bay boat stop and Sprite Chest.Osky · 07:18
6

Exit via the launch pad toward the next hut and safe zone

Hit the launch pad beside the boat stop to fly southwest across the lower desert ridge. Check the chest along your landing path and the small inland hut shown in Osky’s launch-pad exit sequence (07:29), then either rotate into the safe zone or check the optional brick shelters if uncontested.

If any stop is already looted, contested off the drop or cut off by the storm, skip ahead to the next safe stop. You do not need to force the offshore island crossing every match for the route to work.

C. The Chest: dig first, then choose your rotation

C: Clear the sandy buried-chest zone at The Chest (1), then rotate southeast toward Lantern Landing (2) or the safe zone.Fortnite.GG / Epic Games

A digging-focused western route centered on the sandy spit and small islands below Rubber Resort, where buried treasure mounds spawn close together.

  1. 1 · Secure a weapon before stepping onto open sand. Land at the northern edge of The Chest or the adjacent shore below Rubber Resort so you have a weapon before digging in exposed terrain (TG Plays’ open-ground caution (17:32)).
  2. Dig the buried mounds in a single sweep. Work north-to-south across the sandbars and small boats so you do not dig the same stretch twice. Creator videos estimate roughly 15–20 buried and surface positions across this zone (NNF mound estimate (01:45); Home Of Games digging demo (05:31)).
  3. Use Fortune Plundarrgh if you already have one extracted. Opening a chest with Fortune Plundarrgh grants a temporary movement and pickaxe speed boost that speeds up consecutive digs, though ordinary pickaxe swings work fine without it.
  4. 2 · Rotate southeast toward Lantern Landing or the safe zone. Once the mounds are dug, follow the mainland road southeast toward Lantern Landing (rotation toward Lantern Landing (Home Of Games, 08:05)) or pivot to Rubber Resort / Arlong Park depending on the storm circle. Open nearby vaults only when you hold a Vault Key.

Starter route note: use a normal Vault Key when adding a vault along your rotation. We do not rely on shockwave-through-wall locked vault destruction (Home Of Games shockwave method (07:25)) because Token eligibility for destroyed locked vault chests is unverified.

Compare Fortnite chest locations by search style

Start with the three full routes above. For other named POIs across Crossbones Isle, compare their position, search style and conditions below, or select a location name to highlight its area on the map without leaving this page. This table is a practical route planner, not a drop-rate ranking.

Why we do not rank POIs by a single chest number: Fortnite.GG cluster badges change with zoom level, POI boundary definitions and which chest layers (regular, buried, rare, Sprite) are toggled on. Comparing a 50-position multi-stop coastal loop against a single building or town is not an apples-to-apples density ranking.

Chest route questions

Which chest route gives me the best chance of getting the Token?
Choose the route where you can reach more unlooted chests safely: Arlong Park for a floor-by-floor search, the northeast coast for six connected shoreline stops, or The Chest for sandy mound digging before rotating inland. Lobby traffic and the storm can change the best choice from match to match. A higher per-chest Token drop rate at one specific POI has not been established.
What is the difference between the blue circles (1–6) and the yellow/black square numbers on the route maps?
Blue circles and arrows mark our suggested search sequence and rotation direction. The yellow/black rounded squares are native Fortnite.GG map markers that group nearby chest positions into clusters and split apart as you zoom in.
Is Arlong Park guaranteed to have 17 chests in the main building?
tmnglv estimates up to 17 chest positions in the main building and over 40 across the wider POI. Those figures describe potential spawn positions, not a guarantee that every chest spawns or remains unlooted in your match.
Should I copy the exact chest where a creator or clip won Pirate Shop Access?
Focus on a repeatable search order rather than a single “lucky” chest. Osky shows the coastal chest where his reward dropped during a 14-hour grind, and viral clips show wins in Loguetown and Fortune’s Fort, but a single winning clip does not prove higher odds at that exact coordinate.
